My name is Alyssa, and I am a student at the University of Cincinnati. I’m studying Social Work because I love helping people, especially kids. I started babysitting at the age of 12 and have experience in tutoring, as a camp counselor, mother’s helper, nanny and, of course, babysitter. I've volunteered at a food pantry in Clifton since I was 11, and also at an animal shelters, at various Girl Scout functions and I babysat in my church's nursery during high school. In the fall (2008) I volunteered with Mercy Franciscan at St. john, doing childcare during a parenting class. Over the summer 2008 I watched a 10 month old and from October 2008 to June 2009 I worked for a family with a 3 year old and 5 year old. Over the summer 2009 I was a nanny to a family with two girls, 8 and 10. Most recently I have been regularly sitting an infant starting when he was 6 mo and he is now 10 months.
