Taft has approximately 200 students. We are a small school that is striving to prepare students to make a big impact in the fields of Science Technology Engineering and Math.
Taft Elementary serves students in preschool through eighth grade. Our school prides itself on being a neighborhood school serving Mt. Auburn and surrounding communities.
Taft Elementary has approximately 20 teachers on staff. We have a highly qualified staff that is dedicated to both the academic and social development of our students.
Taft Elementary has approximately 10 instructor assistants on staff. These assistants work with the students in and out of the classroom and are an important part of the learning process.
Taft Elementary offers opportunities in art music and technology. These opportunities provide enrichment experiences for our students. These instructors work in collaboration with the classroom teachers to support standards based instruction.
