Riverview East Elementary Preschool

Riverview East Academy is the first PreK-10th grade school in the Cincinnati Public Schools District. This gives us a unique learning environment where siblings attend school in the same building and are able to support each other. Our students have a closeness acceptance and appreciation of their peers. We are located on the banks of the beautiful Ohio River in Cincinnati Ohio. Riverview East Academy was established in 2005 at the old McKinley School building and is a joining of McKinley School and Linwood Academy. Riverview East Academy moved into a new facility on December 26 2005 we will add additional grades each year until we are a PreK-12th grade school. Riverview East Academy is the result of the local community working in collaboration with Cincinnati Public Schools to establish a “Community Learning Center” (CLC). A CLC is a school environment where parents are empowered along with other members of the community. The goal is to make the school the focal point for education as well as social service resources. We provide day and evening educational services and other resources for our students and families.

Teachers staff and administrators work in collaboration to put students first. The educational programs at our school are designed to meet the needs of all students. The instructional team services the needs of gifted autistic and special needs students. Our faculty is well trained and provides the highest standards in effective teaching skills and strategies. All students receive a sound core curriculum as identified by the Cincinnati Public School District and State Standards.

Riverview East Academy offers students the opportunity to learn in a safe secure environment supported by state of the art technology. Our mission is to develop our students to meet and exceed District and State academic standards. Our student staff and parents work together to ensure that our students will be successful life-long learners.
