Kingsbay Y Afterschool Annex

The mission of Chavaya is to build a foundation of Jewish experience for children who attend a Hebrew charter school. Chavaya strives to provide our children with an ever growing appreciation and understanding of Jewish values rituals traditions and culture. Its purpose is to engage children in experiential Jewish learning and activities that infuse their lives with meaning and joy. Chavaya is run on premises independent of any Hebrew language charter school and completely separately from any Hebrew language charter school.

We are proud of the care and attention provided to our children by our dedicated staff of educators and counselors who care for the children supervise their play oversee their meals help with Hebrew and general homework and reinforce the learning that the children have at school. This facility is authorized to administer over-the-counter topical ointments only
