I am a 22-year-old college student. I attend Northern Kentucky University for middle childhood education. I have completed four years with three semesters of assisting/teaching in middle school classes. I have also tutored at a Covington School and I was a Sunday school teacher for two years back in my hometown of Chicago. I have been a nanny/baby sitter for ages ranging from 3 months to 12 years old. I was known around town as the “neighborhood nanny”. By the age of 14, I had a calendar that would be filled up with baby-sitting jobs! I was a nanny for a family during the summer for a 6 and 9-year-old. I took the boys to the park, museums, and the pool. I am very flexible on activities to do with children. I am fine with playing in the neighborhood or bringing children to different parks or educational sites. I have my own transportation and a clean driving record. I don’t mind doing cleaning around the house and preparing meals. I can provide several references and a resume if needed. I love children very much and baby-sitting is not looked at as work to me. As a future middle school teacher, I see working with children as an interest and a passion. I love to work with and teach them new things. One of my biggest attributes is that I try to be more than just the average baby sitter. My style is more to take an active role by interacting rather than just simply watching the children. I am available for the summer to be a nanny/baby sitter. My availability is completely open.
