A.M.A. Family Daycare

Description

Our Philosophy is to believe just as our grandparents (A.M.A.) did, that a child should be allowed to grow at their own pace and to learn in ways that help them become confident in themselves & confident as learners. I have three goals to achieve with your child:
•to encourage them to feel good about them selves & as learners,
•to help inspire educational growth through LOVE , FRIENDSHIPS and a sense of FAMILY;
•to help them learn about themselves as individuals, the world around them and their importance.
These goals are the foundation of everything I do in my program. At A.M.A. Family Daycare your child will be given the opportunity to explore, experiment, and create in warm and safe environment.
We do not use a specific curriculum because to A.M.A. the children are the curriculum. We are there to guide them and help them find their own individuality through exploration and play. The program while still providing a daily schedule will also provide the children with experiences that are designed to influence a positive concept of self, recognizing others and Family. Each child will be provided with a sufficient quantity and variety of materials and play equipment appropriate to the age and developmental level of the child. Materials and play equipment may include books,
paints, crayons, safety scissors, paper, blocks, puzzles, toys, games, balls, riding toys,puppets, dress up and our outdoor playground.
